My name is Shanie. I was born in Cape Town, raised in Saldanha, and ultimately moved back to Cape Town. So I guess you can call me a small-town girl with big-city dreams!

Ever since I was a little girl I've always been a fan of fairytales, once-upon-a-time love stories, and weddings - I'm a real hopeless romantic! Since then I've kept my childlike sense of wonder.

 

So, being a full-time wedding photographer ultimately brings three of my biggest passions together - People, Love Stories & Photography. It truly is a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together!

I have a very relaxed shooting style combined with a vibrant and bubbly personality. I see myself as a very personable individual who loves to have fun with my clients while still maintaining a professional standard of ethics.

While I also enjoy stepping back and allowing moments to happen naturally, I will be offering direction and guidance by making use of fun posing techniques that will ultimately bring out your personality and make you forget that you were ever in front of the camera.
